Στην αίθουσα Timber Hall, του ξενοδοχείου Porto Palace στην Θεσσαλονίκη την 21 Μαρτίου 2010, πραγματοποιήθηκε η πρώτη επίσημη παρουσίαση των δραστηριοτήτων και των προϊόντων της εταιρείας μας στους επαγγελματίες που ασχολούνται με την προστασία της Δημόσιας Υγείας και την ασφάλεια των τροφίμων και εδρεύουν στην ευρύτερη περιοχή της Β. Ελλάδας και της Θεσσαλίας.

Την εκδήλωση τίμησαν με την παρουσία τους εκπρόσωποι 50 και πλέον εταιρειών του χώρου. Μετά το πέρας της παρουσίασης ακολούθησε δεξίωση στις εγκαταστάσεις του ξενοδοχείου.

Η πρόσφατη επιδημία του ιού του Δυτικού Νείλου, που έπληξε περιοχές της Κεντρικής Μακεδονίας, είχε ως αποτέλεσμα την ασθένεια 291 συνανθρώπων μας εκ των οποίων οι 34 απεβίωσαν, ενώ υπολογίζεται ότι προσβλήθηκαν (με ήπια ή χωρίς συμπτώματα) 19.100 κάτοικοι.

Ο ιός μεταδίδεται στον άνθρωπο με το τσίμπημα του κοινού κουνουπιού (του γένους Culex), ενώ το κουνούπι μολύνεται από ζώα, κυρίως πτηνά & άλογα.

Ένα από τα μέτρα που έλαβε το Υπουργείο Υγείας σε συνεργασία με το Υπουργείο Αγροτικής Ανάπτυξης, ήταν & η εφαρμογή από εδάφους & αέρος με την μέθοδο της εκνέφωσης (ULV) δύο πυρεθρινοειδών σκευασμάτων των εταιρειών Sumitomo & Bayer.

Το ένα εκ των δύο σκευασμάτων, το Pesguard S102 (ex.Sumithrin) της εταιρείας Sumitomo Chemical, διατίθεται στην Ελλάδα από την εταιρεία μας.

1. Higher catch rate to enable more effective mass trapping programs.
2. Longer operating life span particularly in open fields at elevated temperature.

operating life of the lure.

Over the past 18 months, TUA-500 has proved to be the industry favourite around the Mediterranean for its consistent and reliable performance. TUA-optima is a new development to offer an added performance excellence under the most challenging field conditions.

TUA-optima is best used to maximise the performance of conforming water traps. Its effect will be best felt if used in conjunction with the Ferolite trap (The combined pheromone and pheromone trap).

Tuta absoluta has been advancing to the eastern parts of the Mederannean where field temperatures are expected to be higher than those in the western parts. Mass trapping is key element in the program of management of Tuta absoluta and particularly at the early stages of the pest break out.
